Terms & Conditions for File Upload & Audio Services

Important Notice: Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before uploading your files. These Terms govern your use of our file upload facility and the provision of our mixing and/or mastering services ("Services"). By proceeding to upload your audio files ("Files") using this facility, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not upload your Files or use our Services.  

1. File Upload & Rights

  • You warrant that you are the owner of the Files or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions (including from co-writers, producers, performers, and sample owners) required to submit the Files to us for the Services.

  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and process the Files for the purpose of providing the requested mixing and/or mastering Services.

  • We recommend uploading Files in WAV or AIFF format, at the original sample rate, with adequate headroom - typically -6dBFS peak. We are not responsible for quality issues arising from improperly prepared source files.

2. Service Process & Payment

  • Once you have uploaded your file(s) you will receive an invoice via email for the full amount.

  • Work & Preview: Once payment is received in full, we will perform the requested Services on your Files. Upon completion, we will provide you with a preview version of the mixed/mastered track(s) for your approval. This preview may be in a lower-quality format (e.g., MP3) and/or contain audible watermarks (e.g., beeps, voiceovers) and is strictly for evaluation purposes.

  • Approval & Final Payment: You will have 3 business days to review the preview and request any included revisions (see Section 4).

  • Final File Delivery: Once you approve the preview the final, high-resolution, non-watermarked audio files (typically 24-bit, 44.1kHz WAV files unless otherwise agreed) will be made available for download via a secure link only after the final payment has been received and confirmed in full.

3. Turnaround Time

  • Our estimated turnaround time is typically 3-5 business days for masters and vocal + 2-track mixes, and 5-7 business days for full mixes from payment of the invoice and all necessary files. This is an estimate and may vary depending on project complexity and current workload. We will provide a more specific estimate upon project confirmation. Rush services may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability.

4. Revisions

  • The quoted service fee includes two (2) rounds of minor revisions based on your feedback on the initial preview. Minor revisions typically include level adjustments, EQ tweaks, or similar small changes.

  • Major changes (e.g., submitting new files/stems after work has begun, significant arrangement changes requested post-mix) are not considered standard revisions and may incur additional charges.

  • Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be charged at our standard hourly rate of £10 per hour.

5. Confidentiality & Data Security

  • We treat all Client Files and communications with strict confidentiality. We will not share, sell, or distribute your original or processed Files to any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

  • We take reasonable measures to protect your Files, but we are not liable for unforeseen data loss or security breaches.

6. Refund Policy

  • Once you have approved the final version, no refunds will be issued.

  • If, in rare circumstances, we are unable to complete the agreed-upon Services, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Our Services are provided "as is". While we strive for the highest quality, we make no guarantees regarding the commercial success of the final product.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  

9. Agreement to Terms

  • By clicking the 'Upload Files' [or exact name of your upload button] button and submitting your Files, you acknowledge that you have been provided with clear access to read these Terms & Conditions (located on this page) and you confirm your acceptance of them in their entirety. Your use of the upload facility and our subsequent Services is conditional upon this acceptance.
